The most recent movie coming out on this list, Death on the Nile is a murder mystery set in the 1930’s aboard a ferry voyage on the Nile River. When a couple’s honeymoon is interrupted by the bride being murdered, all fingers are pointed at each other. Almost coincidently, there’s a detective amongst the passengers, ready to get on the case.

It’s up to Detective Hercule Periot (Kenneth Branagh) to find out who killed Linnet Doyle (Gal Gadot) before the murderer strikes again. People watching the movie can follow along with the clues and twists to guess who the killer is, up until the grand reveal. This movie is an adaptation of the novel written by Agatha Christie. This jawing mystery movie released on February 11th, so you can see it in theaters now.

Uncharted (Today, Action)

Uncharted stars Tom Holland and Mark Walhberg in a thrilling film adaptation of the popular video game series. Loosely inspired by these games, the movie will tell the story of Nathan Drake and his quest for lost artifacts, which usually gets him into life-or-death situations.

Nathan also hopes to find his long-lost brother, who disappeared while looking for the exact same treasure. This movie will appeal to fans of the games both old and new, or those who just want to enjoy a good movie.

This action-packed adventure will arrive in theaters February 18th.

The Batman (March 4th, Superhero)

Batman is a classic comic book hero that is easily recognizable by anyone. There are many film adaptations of Batman, but a new reboot is on the horizon. Turning Red (March 11th, Family)

Disney and Pixar are back with another animated film coming up that’s great for the whole family. Turning Red is about a girl named Mei (Rosalie Chiang), who is cursed with turning into a giant red panda whenever she gets excited. She tries to navigate her perfect life and control her emotions, but soon learns that maybe a little freedom isn’t such a bad thing.

This movie is a coming-of-age story that many may relate to when watching. The theme of letting your emotions be free is an interesting message to explore. This heartfelt film will actually be skipping theaters and released exclusively on Disney Plus on March 11th.

Morbius (April 1st, Superhero)

Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting Morbius’ solo film, which will be another Sony/Marvel movie. A biologist, now turned vampire, Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) is given superhuman abilities when his cure for his blood disease goes wrong. His powers came with a lust for blood, so he’ll have to kill in order to survive.

Morbius is similar to Venom, who also got a solo film, as they are both anti-heroes and are foes of Spider-Man. In fact, the trailer shows Spider-Man, the Daily Bugle, and Michael Keaton’s Vulture (from Spider Man: Homecoming), so this movie may be more connected to the MCU than we thought. Morbius’ debut in his film will come out on April 1st.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (April 15th, Fantasy)

Acting as the third movie in the Fantastic Beasts film series, The Secrets of Dumbledore will be a crossover with the Harry Potter universe, one of J. K. Rowling’s most notable franchises. This movie is a prequel years before the events of Harry Potter.

Multiverse of Madness is about Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) having to face off against a huge threat when the multiverse is broken. He enlists the help of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), along with new allies from across the universes.

This movie takes place after the events of No Way Home, where Doctor Strange cast the spell that causes the conflict of this movie. Halloween Ends (October 14th, Horror)

The most notable slasher movie series out there, Halloween is a classic and loved by many. This new movie will make it the 13th movie in the saga. And from the looks of it, the final movie in the series.

With any hope, the reign of terror of Michael Myers may finally come to an end this Halloween. This anticipated conclusion to the saga comes out on October 14th.
