The Vampire Diaries is a 2009 production that portrays the mysterious adventures that come with Vampires, Witches, and Doppelgängers in a Virginia town known as Mystic Falls. The cast includes Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, and Paul Wesley to name a few.

The show is a combination of both science fiction and romance, depicting the life of vampires, witches, doppelgangers, and mortals, in the frenzy that is known as love. The show is one that captures the audience well by showing both dramatic and exhilarating scenes, as well as relatable school scenes as well.

I personally enjoy the show for it is a good-feel show: it allows for the mind to be taken into a different world of mythical creatures and immortality, along with the relatable aspect of school and mortals being part of the show as well.

The Vampire Diaries is a great show for children of all ages. Overall, I believe that the overall message that is conveyed in the show is one that is worth both watching and understanding: love has the power to push man to do irrational things, even when love may not be true.
