The Titan Athletic Booster Club (TABC) hosted a silent auction at Lucia’s Restaurant in Great Falls on the 21st. Parents of athletes, coaches, such as Bradley George, and members of the club helped make this event happen.

On this night, from 7 to 11pm, the participating teams raised over $5,300 on Saturday evening, and the Booster Club raised an additional $1,700 through the sale of raffle tickets, for total proceeds over $7,000.
Each athletic team made a basket for this fundraiser with the help of parents which included a variety of items which could be food, different beverages and more. The money gained with these baskets goes towards additional training equipment, extra jerseys or warmup gear, or other needs that the team may need.
Jamie Shin, an organizer for this fundraiser and a member of the TABC said, “A big goal for TABC this year is to raise funds to pay for a new Titans mascot. We hope that the mascot will be used for many years to come at Titan events and throughout the Dominion Cluster Community.”
Not only are they raising money for this future mascot, but the club is also planning to create camps that will be hosted by various teams at Dominion for a variety of ages. Shin added, “TABC believes there are so many positive physical and mental benefits for kids who are consistently engaged in sports at the youth and high school levels. We have so many great coaches and athletes at Dominion who can introduce their sports in a positive and encouraging way to kids in our community and help build additional skills for those already playing in these sports.”
These camps will not only be there to improve the skills for future athletes but also for important financial resources like gear, specialized training, and team building. Dominion students will also be able to gain community service hours by helping at these camps.
These fundraisers held by TABC are not only held for the money, but also because it brings the community together. Kristie Lambert, a mom of a baseball player, said “It’s a great way to bring the smaller Dominion group together as a community. It’s great to see people outside of games.”
Amy Albanese, one of the organizers, said, “It’s a chance for all the parents to come together and talk and connect, because we don’t have a lot of events like that.”
Shin states that it was a “fun and successful evening.”
