Dominion has two wrestlers, one basketball player, one field hockey player, a football player, and a track & field athlete who were celebrated. Family, friends, coaches, and teammates were all invited to watch as theour Titan athletes made their commitment official.
Lahsen Bachir-Bouiadjra: Wrestling- York College of Pennsylvania
Lahsen started wrestling as a freshman for Dominion and showed great progress leading all the way to his senior year. “Lahsen never won a match his freshman year on JV and then this year, he took second in the state and is a two time district champ. That really shows how hard he’s worked to get where he is,” head wrestling coach Billy Young said.
Chris Contreras-Escobar: Football- Ursinus College
Chris has been playing football for 13 years, four at Dominion. He plans on studying economics at Ursinus College. “I look forward to playing in college since my team is a good team, meaning I will get the opportunity to perform at my best since football is a team sport,” Contreras-Escobar said.
Aladdin Fenaoui: Wrestling- York College of Pennsylvania
Aladdin has been wrestling all four years at Dominion, cross country for two years, and varsity football his senior year. “I ended up picking York because of one of my mentors, Coach Cam, who attended YCP and is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the school. I love what the team and engineering culture produced and want to be part of that,” Fenaoui.
Audrey Moreno: Field Hockey- Arcadia University
Audrey has been playing field hockey for eight years, four of which at Dominion. She will be majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Special Education. “Audrey has always been a very strong player through the three years I coached her. She has matured physically and also became much more of a team leader through the few years I coached her,” head coach Bob Stravinski said.
Jakob-Jude Salgado: Basketball- Ateneo de Manila University
Jakob Jude has been playing basketball since he was seven years old and played four years on Boys Varsity Basketball. He plans on studying Business Management IT at Ateneo de Manila University. “I chose this college because they gave me a lot of opportunities, not just for basketball but also for myself. I also feel like especially for basketball I can go far,” Salgado said.
Cordell Williams: Track & Field- Virginia State University
Cordell has been doing track for four years and plans on studying Mass Media and minoring in Photography. He had received five offers but decided on Virginia State University. “I picked Virginia State University because of how the team and the coaches remind me of the team that I have been a part of here,” Williams said.
