Beginning with painting parking spots and senior sunrise, the celebration of senior year continues this week with Senior Week called “Senior Palooza”, filled with dress up days, music, games, food and other items for the graduating class.
According to senior class sponsor Lidelmarie Santiago, the parents of seniors this year had come together and decided what Senior week would look like stating, “They decided that it’s going to be a Senior Palooza.” The planning was led by Adriana Radu, a Dominion parent.
The so-called “Senior Palooza ‘25” begins on the 15th and goes all the way until the 19th. The week starts off with Pajama day and breakfast at the front gates, where seniors will receive their rubber bands that are required for the entire week.
Tuesday is wear your favorite hat day with salty snacks. According to Santiago, this was chosen because “At the end, you have to wear a cap and gown. So wear a hat for a cap.” Then Wednesday seniors wear their favorite jersey and enjoy Subway sandwiches.
Friday, seniors get to wear the class shirts they designed and enjoy ice cream. Seniors will receive the shirt on Thursday.
Reminders will be posted on the senior class group Schoology page as well as an email sent to each student.
