Why did you choose to teach at dominion?

“I chose to teach at Dominion because I love the community and the titan spirit. [Also,] I’m excited to be a part of titan territory.”

What is your impression of DHS after the first two weeks?

“I am so happy here. I get up and I love coming to work; I actually come to work early everyday. Everybody is happy, and works together collaboratively. It’s a very structured environment (and) there’s a lot of learning going on, but there’s a lot of fun going on too.”

On your class website you mentioned besides teaching, you also have coached basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and track. Where did you coach? Additionally, did you play any sports in high school or college?

“I previously was in Fairfax County teaching, and I coached gymnastics and track at McLean High School, and then I coached basketball and volleyball for South Lakes. I was the volleyball coach there the longest, for ten years. Actually, the last class that I coached are seniors this year. I have a lot of kids that are playing [at the] D1 level right now, one of my girls is at American, another one is at Virginia Tech. [Additionally,] I played basketball at ECU.”
