Dear Mr. Yupanqui,
Now that it is teacher appreciation week, I wanted to share my gratitude for having you as my DE English teacher.
Throughout my school career English has always been a subject I have not been too fond of; however, during my final year of high school having you as my teacher has made this subject that I have not been fond of, feel enjoyable and rewarding.
This year in English I felt myself truly become a better writer. Through your lessons, assignments, and projects, my understanding of the various skills and processes that goes into writing have immensely increased. You have helped me become a better writer in preparation for college and my future educational endeavors, and I am very thankful for that experience.
The college advice you have given me has been very helpful and much appreciated. The experience you have shared from your time at NOVA and advice you have given about it has helped me be more prepared for my next step in my life.
I am so grateful for having you as my teacher during my senior year, I couldn’t think of a better final English class to take during my high school career. I hope you had a good teacher’s appreciation week that was full of joy and celebration.
From the bottom of my heart,
Alex Shekailo
