Cox Farms kicks off its annual fall festival on Sept. 20 through Nov. 9, complete with a corn maze, hayrides, and a petting zoo for families and friends to enjoy. Some attractions include the Tractor Museum, the Goat Village, and the Imaginature Trail. Not only that, but they’re also hosting their “Fields of Fear” from Sept 26 – Nov 8 every Friday and Saturday night and on Sunday, Oct. 12, 7:30 pm – 11 pm.
Leesburg Animal Park hosts its annual pumpkin village from Sept. 13 through Nov. 5. The attractions include Wagon rides, Giant Hill slides, and Moon Bounces. But it gets even better from there with even more attractions on the weekends such as live entertainment, professional face painting from 11 am to 3 pm, free cider tasting, and fresh apple and pumpkin cookies.
Temple Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch will also open its pumpkin patch and corn maze in late September 27th to Nov. 2nd, everyday from 9 am to 5 pm. Their attractions include Pick-Your-Own pumpkins and sunflowers, wagon rides, hill slides, and yard games.
Great Country Farms’ has many different events going on from September all the way to November. Starting off with the Pumpkin Picking Corn Maze starting on Sept. 19 going to Oct. 31. Then there will be the Family Flashlight Corn maze nights on Sept. 20 and 27 where families and friends can explore their corn maze at night. Then after Halloween ends, they host a Pumpkin Chunkin’, where people can come and smash their pumpkins left over from Halloween from Nov. 1st to Nov. 4th. And last but not least, to end the fall season, their last event will be the LOCO cider fest on Nov. 15th from 12 pm to 6 pm, where you get to taste all the different ciders Virginia has to offer.
Wayside Farm is also hosting their annual Fall Festival. The opening day was September 20th and their Fall Festival ends on November 2nd. Their attractions include their 10 acre corn maze, pig races, and duck races. Not only that but you can make a reservation on their website and pick your pumpkin from their pumpkin patch.
Wanting something more adventurous or crafty? Messicks Farm festival goes from September 20th to October 26th. Their festival offers ziplining, cruise-ins and especially hay rides. Messicks Farm also offers a craft fair on November 8th from 9 am to 3 pm. Not only that, but Messicks Farm also has a pick-your-own-flower patch, where people get to choose their own flowers, everyday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Another farm that isn’t as popular as Cox farms, Maple Tree Farm, is hosting their attractions from September 28th and every Saturday and Sunday until October 26th. Their attractions include buttermaking, puppet shows, and a petting zoo that include small animals. Not only that, but they’re also hosting their Haunted Hallow every Friday and Saturday, starting from September 26th and going until October 25th.
