Hurricane Irma Devastates the Caribbean Islands and Puerto Rico
On Wednesday morning, Hurricane Irma hit the islands of Barbuda, then St. Martin, and Anguilla. The severity of the storm caused significant damage to buildings and cut off communications in the island of Barbuda. Later Wednesday Irma battered Puerto Rico with winds above 100 miles per hour. It is expected to hit Florida early Sunday morning and impact both coasts.
