Homecoming week is indisputably the highlight of the school year at Dominion. Even as many dread coming back to school, they eagerly anticipate decorating hallways, spirit days, and pep rallies that accompany the new year’s start.

The theme for this year’s Homecoming festivities will be ‘All Around the World – Olympic Style’. In the week leading up to the dance, which will be hosted in Dominion’s gym on October 8^th, students will participate in all the typical homecoming activities—parades, hallway décor, and pep rally games—with an Olympic twist. “The pep rally games will heavily coordinate with [the Olympic theme],” Lila Najmyar, SCA Secretary, said.

Additionally, “the top 10 most impactful Olympic countries” will be the themes available to choose from for this year’s Homecoming hallway contest, Najmyar said. As per usual, once the list is made available, the senior class will choose their top choice country before the 11^th, 10^th, and 9^th grade classes make their respective picks.

“We’re hoping to get many people involved, have awesome decorations, and an amazing week,” Najmyar said.
