Game: Monday, April 7th 6:30 pm at Dominion High School
Why: With a record of (2-5) so far, the Titans are looking to bounce back from their 8-0 loss against Loudoun County. The Titans prior to their game against Loudoun County were coming off a big 12-5 win against Riverside last Wednesday. The Champe game will be a competitive game and it is important to note that this “is the first time we see them since we took them [Champe] out of the postseason in regional semifinals [last year] to move on to states,” senior Jason Ku said. Last year, the Titans beat Champe 8-2 knocking them out of the region tournament.
John Champe is an important game this season for the Titans as it will have a major impact on their standing in the region. “Champe is good competition for us, so if we can beat them then we will be in good shape to compete in our region,” senior Zach James said. Students should attend this game because “it will be a very close and competitive game between us,” Ku said.
Players to Watch For: Look out for centerfield #3 Jaden Beyer, #9 Jason Ku and freshmen #30 Max Egbert.
What’s Next: The Titans will be back in action versing Broad Run on Tuesday, April 8th, 6:30 p.m. at Dominion.
