Red Bag

According to Liz Campbel the Area Manager for the Sterling area for Loudoun County, the Red Bag program (Food for Neighbors) is a food supplemental program for middle and high school students. To donate, community members will donate a red bag filled with food items that will make its way to the hands of students that need it. High school students volunteering with the program can get service hours by donating their time to go to the Food for Neighbors sorting facility and help unload food from cars, sort food into bins, and reload food into vehicles to be sent to pantries or wherever else they’re designated.
