What Happened Last Week

  • Eagles handed the Vikings their first loss of the year
  • The Chargers bounce back, hand the Falcon’s their second loss of the year
  • Primetime ratings continue to plummet. Seahawks and Cardinals ending in a 6-6 tie did not help at all

Redskins vs Bengals 9:30 am FOX (Game in London)

The Redskins started their season 0-2, won four straight, and then this past Sunday suffered a devastating 4th quarter comeback loss against the Lions. They are playing in a very competitive and talented division this year with little room to slip up so they need to win games like the one they have on Sunday. The Bengals are coming off of a win against the horrible Browns, but still haven’t been able to have everything click yet, offensively and defensively. The Josh Norman is not playing, which will be a factor for the Redskins, but not enough to make it a loss

Redskins win 17-13

Chargers vs Broncos 4:05 pm CBS

After the Chargers disastrous start to the season where they were losing close games and blowing double digit leads, they have bounced back and beat two very good teams, in situations where they could have folded. The Broncos started the season red hot, but their defense has been scored on more as of late, and the quarterback play is catching up to them. I think the talent of the Chargers has shown a lot through the last few games, and draft picks like Melvin Gordon, and Joey Bosa are playing key roles into their success.

Chargers win 28-25

Eagles vs Cowboys 8:30 pm NBC Sunday Night Football

The top two teams in the NFC East are facing off on Sunday night, and this should be one of the best games of the year through the half-way point of the season. If the Eagles can protect Carson Wentz and give him time to throw, they should win. The Cowboy’s defense is depleted with injuries, and the Eagles defense has done a great job forcing turnovers, and scoring points on special teams, and I see them slowing down Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot Sunday.

Eagles win 17-10
