What Happened Last Week

  • Bills beat the Patriots in a shocker 16-0 (My prediction was correct)
  • Steelers got back on track with a dominating blowout against the Chiefs
  • Vikings beat the Giants, may shockingly be the best team in the NFC

Cardinals vs 49ers 8:25 pm CBS Thursday Night Football

In a shocking change of events, in the season after making it to the NFC Championship, the Cardinals are bad. Although it is early and there’s a lot of football to be played, for some reason their defense isn’t playing well and Carson Palmer looks like an average quarterback. The 49ers aren’t much better but these are two teams who need a win.

Cardinals win 16-14

Bengals vs Cowboys 4:25 pm CBS

The Bengals come into this game having underperformed most of the year so far with lackluster defense and no offense to be found if you look anywhere other than towards AJ Green, who has emerged as a superstar. The Cowboys have done the exact opposite of that, Dak Prescott has led the Cowboys to a 3-1 start, and he has impressed everyone with his composure, accuracy, and control over the whole offense. As Ezekiel Elliot emerges as a top NFL running back, the Cowboys will be a team to be feared this season.

Bengals get win a close one 28-25

Giants vs Packers 8:30 pm NBC Sunday Night Football

After an eventful Monday night loss against the Vikings, Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines with his comments that projected his feelings that everyone in the NFL is against him and how “football isn’t fun anymore”. All I have to say about this is that Odell is one of the best in the league, and is a very passionate player whose emotions get the best of him most of the time. To say everyone is against him is simply not true, because he has built his own reputation, and that’s how life works. Back to the game; the Packers are coming off of a bye week but haven’t looked like a Super Bowl team this year and have a long way to go until they get there.

Giants win 24-15

Buccaneers vs Panthers 8:30 pm ESPN Monday Night Football

Thus far, the Panthers are another team that has severely underperformed this year. After going to the Super Bowl last year, their defense has looked awful, Cam has no protection, and their running game isn’t present at all. The Buccaneers are still in a rebuilding like phase and have a strong young quarterback in Jameis Winston.

The Panthers get a must win 35-31
