Were This Year’s Hallways a Success?

Freshman: This year’s freshmen performed better than last years, but they’re definitely not the winner. With a small tiki shack pressed up against the wall being their only sign of creativity, their hallway failed to convey any sort of Hawaii feel.
Sophomores: Having to meet the expectations of last year’s sophomore class, this year’s class of 2018 had a lot to prove. Their hallway had a lot of Disney and Miami aspects, well Miami was supposed to be the place where they put lots of glitter, but it wasn’t portrayed nicely. There wasn’t really a highlight to their hallway, unless you consider the random lamp.
Juniors: It’s going to be a close call between the seniors and the juniors this year, as the juniors did an excellent job, especially with their idea with the subway stations of New York. If the juniors do win it will be due to their attention to detail specifically with their makeshift stock market consisting of their class as number one. They did have a giant taxi that looked very unstable, if it fell on a judge’s head they would have lost their chance to win.
Seniors: Seniors have their own advantage of being seniors, but even if they do win, it’s well deserved. They had their theme as California, which they portrayed through a Silicon Valley, Hollywood, Red Carpet and In N’ Out Burger. The one thing that seniors did to set them apart was their spontaneous and crazy raves that sent shockwaves through the hallway.
