Game: Tuesday, October 1st 7:15 pm at Dominion High School
Why: With an impressive 13-2 record so far, they are looking to rebound from a tough 3-1 loss last night at County. While Dominion currently sits as first in the district, this game is crucial to wrapping up the regular season title.
Loudoun Valley has an overall record of 3-9, shutting out Tuscarora last night. Megan Hiltner said, “This is our final first time seeing a district opponent, so it’s very important for our postseason.” Students should attend Tuesday’s match because “[it] is our pink out game for breast cancer, so we will have brand new pink jerseys and encourage everyone to come decked out in pink,” Hiltner said.
Players to Watch For: Keep an eye on #3 Juliet Correll, a talented libero and a critical defensive player. Also watch for #5 Abby Vasak, a middle blocker who plays a major role on the team.
What’s Next: Their next match is against John Champe on Tuesday, October 8, at 7:15 at John Champe High School.
