Mobile Hope
Mobile Hope is a non-profit organization that helps out at risk and homeless youth ages 18-24. This age group is especially important to assist, according to Client and Operations Coordinator Kimberly Valenzuela, many of the people that benefit from Mobile Hope have either come from jail or weren’t able to graduate high school. Valenzuela said, “At that age we think that we’re an adult, but in reality we still have a lot of things that we need to learn.” Mobile Hope offers a multitude of opportunities to give back including their bus program that distributes necessities, their store, filling food bags, sorting donations, working in the organization’s emergency food pantry, and plenty of events throughout the year. You can sign up as a volunteer on their website and find out what jobs are available at any time on their signupgenius.
