Mrs. Coleman is an AP Literature and creative writing teacher at Dominion.
What is the most interesting thing that has happened in your teaching career?
A student I taught when she was a freshman in high school, won a gold medal in the olympics.
What is one secret talent of yours?
I can play the piano. But my real secret talent is that I don’t get brain-freezes.
Where are some interesting places you’ve been?
I’ve been to Austria and Budapest.
If you had to choose an actress to play you in a movie about your life, who would you choose and why?
Kristen Bell. She is a delight and I like “The Good Place”.
Where’s your go to restaurant for amazing food?
Founding Farmers in Reston.
If you had to choose one book to describe your life, which book would you choose?
That is hard. I would probably say that my personality has some hints of Holden Caulfield for “The Catcher in the Rye”.
What’s the most recent show you’ve binge watched?
Desperate Housewives.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
Halloween. It is my husbands birthday and I like an excuse to dress up.
