Did An Interstellar Comet Visit Our Solar System?

On August 30, astronomer Gennady Borisov saw what appears to be a comet appear in our solar system for the second time in recorded history. The comet, formally called C/2019 Q4 (or Borisov), is second to the ‘Oumuamua comet that was seen in July of 2019. Trump’s plan of banning e-cigarette flavors

As a result of the several premature deaths and illnesses due to vape-related drugs, President Trump is considering banning flavored vape products. The Food and Drug Administration is planning to rid the market of flavored e-cigarettes within less than 30 days to discourage young kids from buying these nicotine products. This ban brings about discussion of how it may be beneficial to legalize merijuana to improve regulation of the product on the market.

UK Parliament is Pushing for an Extension to Brexit

The United Kingdom is looking to separate from the European Union, and trying to pass Brexit, or the British Exit. Brexit has been delayed twice as a result of Prime Minister Theresa May, but is thought to be carried out on October 31, 2019. As a result of the Brexit, the UK would be the first of 28 countries to leave the EU. The Brexit covers the rights of British citizens in the EU and EU citizens in the UK, the amount of money the UK was to pay the EU, and the irish border that separates Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Democrats Take the Stage in Third Presidential Debate

In Texas Southern University in Houston, gun control and health care were the top concepts for the 10 leading Democratic candidates’ on stage 2020 presidential debate. A top takeaway was when Beto O’Rourke said “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore.”
