Many Conservatives figures are launching a whisper campaign against Jamal Khashoggi, who was allegally murdered by operatives of Saudi-Arabia. This is meant to cover for Trump as he supports Saudi-Arabia due to the oil that they possess. They are trying to portray Khaskoggi in a very negative light.
At Montana rally, Trump praises congressman for assaulting reporter
On Thursday, Trump praised Republican congressman, Greg Gianforte, for assaulting a reporter as he ran for congress last year. Despite Gianforte pleading guilty to assaulting reporter Ben Jacobs, he was still elected. This caused controversy in light of the news that reporter Jamal Khashoggi was allegedly murdered by Saudi-Arabia.
