5 Questions: Trey Hayes
Trey Hayes is a junior on the Varsity football team who has recently gained exposure from a video of an outstanding play against Heritage.
Question: You recently had a video of one of your plays posted on a twitter account with over 200,000 followers, how did it feel to get that kind of exposure?
Hayes: I’m surprised it got so much exposure as it got posted four days after the game, but it felt good especially since so many coaches are on Twitter and I think it got the programs name out there as well.
Question: What are your goals in terms of awards this year?
Hayes: I would like to get All Region as I did last year and to be District Champs.
Question: What would you like to see from your team for the rest of the season?
Hayes: I would like to see us face adversity better and finish the season 3-0 from now…and make the playoffs.
Question: What plans do you have for college so far?
Hayes: I have some schools looking at me as I would like to play D1 football, but nothing too serious yet.
Question: What are your goals for the rest of your high school football career?
Hayes: My goals are to win a state championship and get all state.
