Toys R Us is one of the world’s largest toy store chains with its merchandise being sold in 880 stores total, in the US. Late Monday, the store filed for bankruptcy due to its long-term debt being equivalent to more than $5 billion dollars.

As a result of the earthquake in Mexico, over 44 buildings had collapsed in Mexico City alone. On Tuesday, September 19, residents, volunteers, and medics have been digging through towering piles of rubble that were once standing buildings (using bare hands), in search for any lucky survivors from the natural disaster. President Enrique Pena Nieto stated, “At this point, everyone should prioritize to giving medical assistance to those that are injured and continue rescuing those that are still trapped; as of now more than 149 people are accounted to be dead after this disaster.”

On Wednesday, a young girl was taken out of Yankee Stadium on a stretcher after the horrific sight of her being hit in the face with a foul ball. The ball was said to be traveling at over 105 miles per hour. Todd Frazier was the batter and he was in immense shock after he realized what had just happened. Fans all over the stadium were shaken by the sight of so much blood on a young girl’s face.
