Background:

• Attended West Springfield High School and Virginia Tech (BA in Vocal Performance, Master’s in English)
• Worked at Our Lady of Hope prior to working at Dominion
• Worked as a corporate trainer before that
• Has been teaching for a total of 34 years

Personal Life:

• Has one son age 24
• Loves the Hokies
• Loves to sing and perform
• Does a lot of community theater
• Loves the school spirit at Dominion

How has Dominion been so far?

I love it here. The kids are great the school is run so well and I’m enjoying life. I love seeing many of the kids that I used to teach here currently. I also heard a lot of great things about the school and the principal impressed me so for those reasons I pursued this job. I didn’t just want to apply to the county and teach for whatever school wanted me, I applied hear and I thankfully got this job.

What is the main thing you are excited for this year?

I love the school spirit that I have already seen and I can’t wait for homecoming week to come. The school just has a great atmosphere and I’m so excited to hopefully spend a good amount of time here.
