Hello Titans and welcome to the 2017-18 school year!  My name is Debbie Rose and I am the elected School Board representative from the Algonkian District.  I am one of the Board members representing the Dominion High School community.

Just as you are getting back into the routine of homework and activities, the School Board is also embarking on another year of work on issues such as the budget, school calendar, building renovations, new schools, transportation and safety, 21st century skills, discipline, and much more.  Because the School Board’s decisions are intended to benefit you, the students, it is important that we hear your thoughts, opinions and concerns.

We really do appreciate your emails and calls.  When you write or call, please include your name and school so that School Board members can more easily answer your questions or address your concerns. Another way to communicate with the School Board is to attend a board meeting and give public comment.  Whether agreeing or disagreeing with School Board actions, we welcome your respectful dialogue and debate.

Best wishes for a successful school year!
