Athlete of the Week: Omar Aougab

Last Week: Omar ran a time of 16:57.60 at the Judge’s Classic Invitational on September 2nd which was good enough for 2nd place. This helped to propel the Titans to winning the 16 team Invitational, a first in school history.

Season Highlights: August 26th Omar ran a 16:41 at the boys 5,000 meter run at the Great Meadow Invitational coming in 11th place giving him a huge upgrade from his 73rd place 17:39 finish at states last year.

From the Coach: Omar has always been one of our hardest workers, but the biggest change this year is his confidence that he can compete with the best on our team and in the state.
