An email sent to parents from Loudoun County Public Schools late Saturday, December 3 announced what is likely the biggest change to DHS in its 13-year history. Dr. Brewer, principal since the day Dominion opened its doors, will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position. A phone call from Wayde Byard made to staff announced the same information.

Serving in his place as acting principal will be Mr. Bill Raye, who previously was principal of Horizon Elementary and is thus familiar with many Dominion students. Mr. Raye was introduced Monday morning to the staff of Dominion.
