#7 Nebraska vs #11 Wisconsin 7:00 pm ESPN
Wisconsin continues their brutal stretch of games after getting a win at Iowa, a must needed win after two straight losses against Ohio State and Michigan, with now another chance for a top ten win against Nebraska. Wisconsin can definitely still make the Big Ten Championship game, but with these two teams, it’s a win and in situation. Nebraska is undefeated but still hasn’t played the toughest part of their Big Ten schedule yet, starting with this game on Saturday. Wisconsin needs to win this game and then hope Nebraska can lose at least one more time to control their own destiny for shots at the playoff. As for the game, Wisconsin should be able to move the ball, but it will be interesting to see how well Nebraska’s offense plays against one of the top defenses in the nation.
Wisconsin wins big 28-9
#3 Clemson vs #12 Florida State 8:00 pm ABC
This matchup against two bitter rivals in the ACC will play a huge role in how the playoff picture plays out. I still think Louisville is the best team in the ACC because Clemson hasn’t been as consistent, even though they beat Louisville. Florida State’s chances are slim but they are still a very good team that can beat anyone in the country. Both of these teams have lacked effort on the defensive end throughout games this year, but Deshaun Watson and the Clemson offense can score with anyone and very quickly. I think Florida State will establish the run early, feed off the home crowd, and Clemson will start flat.
Florida State takes it 35-28
Final Four Prediction
- Alabama
- Michigan
