Week Five Recap

  • Vikings Dominated the Texans, clearly look like the best team in the NFC
  • Cowboys beat the Bengals, continue to roll with Prescott and Elliot
  • Tom Brady returns, doesn’t miss a beat as Patriots won 33-13
  • Falcons beat the Broncos, look like an elite team

Broncos vs Chargers 8:25 pm CBS Thursday Night Football

The Broncos are coming off of their first loss of the season against a good Falcons team, but their starting QB Trevor Siemian should be back after missing the game Sunday. The Chargers are 1-4, they have blown fourth quarter leads, made timely turnovers, and have lost close game after close game in a rough start. The defense isn’t trustworthy, and their offense has been exceptional so far, but not good enough to beat the best defense in the league

20-16 Broncos

Falcons vs Seahawks 4:25 pm FOX

The Falcons (4-1) go to Seattle to play the Seahawks (3-1) in a matchup against two teams atop the NFC. The Falcons are coming off of a huge win, and look like the clear winner of the NFC South, but this Seahawks team is good too. Coming off a bye while having a now healthy Russel Wilson is key for them, and their defense remains one of the best in the league.

Seahawks steal one 24-21

Colts vs Texans 8:30 pm NBC Sunday Night Football

An AFC South matchup that will be key in the playoff picture for the future on Sunday Night, and many think these are the two best teams in that division. The Texans have lost their games to really good teams, and have shown that their defense and offense still has major flaws. The Colts on the other hand have looked like one of the worst teams thus far. Lack of any defense and one of the worst offensive lines in the league are two huge problems and they need to get fixed for the Colts to turn their season around.

Texans topple the Colts 28-24
