This Thursday we will have the 2nd ever Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly. “We are having this assembly to educate the student body about the obstacles and success of our Hispanic students,” said Mrs. Nunez, a DHS Spanish teacher and the sponsor of the assembly.

“It’s a showcase of students,” Mrs. Nunez said. Almost like a talent show, it will feature poem readings and dances. This will be the second time that Dominion hosts a Hispanic Heritage assembly during Hispanic Heritage month. Nunez said, “I hope everybody enjoys it and learns from it and hopefully make some new friends.”
