Week 2 NFL Picks
Week 1 was loaded with games, non-stop action from 1:00 pm to 12:00 am of football, five games being decided by two points or less, and teams really putting their first impression on this long NFL season.
Week 2
Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Redskins 1:00 pm FOX
These teams also lost their season openers; the Cowboys choked one with a late game mental error made by a receiver in a game they would’ve won, and the Redskins got embarrassed on Monday Night Football (by my Super Bowl prediction winner). I think the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott looked sharp in his debut, but defenses are going to keep keying in on their run-game and force Dak to make big plays.
The Redskins bounce back 30-24
Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings 8:30 PM NBC
Both teams won, but Minnesota can’t win games off of their defense against teams like the Titans every week. It also helps that the Packers have the best quarterback in the league, Aaron Rodgers, and he looked like it last week.
Packers dominate 31-10
Philadelphia Eagles vs Chicago Bears 8:30 ESPN Monday Night Football
Bears lost a deflating game, in which they could’ve won. Their offensive line is still developing chemistry while the secondary of their defense is dealing with key injuries. Is Eagles new rookie quarterback Carson Wentz the real deal? Or maybe it was just the Browns that made him look good.
Bears revive their season and win on Monday night 24-14
