On June 4th, the evening will light up as Dominion holds their prom as juniors and seniors dance the night away.

This year’s theme is ‘A Night in the Stars’, which will feature outer-space elements. It will be held at the local Doubletree Hotel. Tickets are currently $65. However, next week, the price will raise to $75 and stay that way until the day before prom.

“We are estimating 400 will come,” says Caroline Ehler, vice-president of the SCA and the president of the junior class council. Like any other prom, “We have a prom king and queen by election and voting is this week,” Ehler says. “Electing the king and queen will help us carry on tradition.”

This year prom sounds like it will be a night full of fun and thrills and truly, “a night in the stars.”
