KIPP DC Share Event
KIPP DC is in need of volunteers to help with activities like set-up, teacher registration, welcoming families, and directing traffic. Volunteers must be at least 16 and be committed to a 3 hour shift. All volunteers will receive free breakfast, lunch, and a T-shirt.

Fit Foodie 5K
The Fit Foodie is having a race to benefit the American Diabetes Association and need volunteers on race day to assist with start and finish line assistance, course management, water stations, goodie bags/T-shirts and cheering on participants. Volunteers must be at least 16; volunteers 15 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Reston Great Strides
Volunteers 16 years and older are needed to help with set-up, registration, food and snack distribution, the CF Foundation mission station, and kids’ corner for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Reston Great Strides event. Volunteers must be willing to commit to a 3 hour shift.

The Reston Association is looking for volunteers to remove invasive species that are taking over the Wainwright Natural Area. It is recommended to bring gloves if you have any, but the Reston Association will provide some tools, gloves, snacks and water. Volunteers must be at least 13 and be able to commit to a 3 hour shift.
