Financial Aid Night at Dominion
Tonight in Dominion’s auditorium students and parents alike will have the opportunity to come and learn about the financial burdens and opportunities that come with acquiring a post-secondary education.
Financial Aid Night is much as it sounds– “a night that explains how to pay for college,” says Mrs. Stefanelli, the career counselor at Dominion. Though the program may seem mainly targeted at seniors, “It’s open for everyone,” Stefanelli says.
The speakers are financial professors from NOVA, who will help parents and students learn about their options for financing a college education and the opportunities that may be available for students to earn scholarship or aid money toward their degree.
Parents and students should come if “they want to learn how to payfor college,” says Stefanelli. Stefanelli believes Financial Aid Night is important for families to attend as it “[provides] information about the different ways people can advance.”
Financial Aid Night is a great way for parents and students to understand the different ways to pay for college.
