In the old days, listening to the daily announcements and even breaking news stories was easy because teachers would just flip on the television in the corner of every classroom. It was easier and sometimes exciting hearing breaking news, now all that is behind us since the television’s no longer work.

It all started early this year when Dr. Brewer revealed to us that the televisions were no longer accessible and nobody understood why. ”The television’s wiring was outdated and burned out,” Ms. Le. Said. The sad news is in only a short time the televisions will be taken away and will never be accessible again. Now it’s harder for teachers to access the announcements because they log on to their computers and go to a special document and sometimes the document won’t work. Also, students will never watch breaking news and know about the stories that affect them.

The reason to not install new wiring is the cost. Even though I remember only hearing the announcements from the Promethean board, my older friends recall listening to it from the television– something they never will do again.
